Barrington, New Hampshire, US is a town in Strafford County, established in 1722. It was originally part of Rochester and was incorporated as a separate town in 1763. The town is named after Lord Barrington, Secretary of War at the time. Barrington is known for its rural character and the historic Barrington Town Hall, built in 1903, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
