Booneville is a city in Logan County, Arkansas, United States, with a population of approximately 4,000 as of the 2010 census. It was founded in 1828 and named after Nathan Boone, a son of Daniel Boone. The city is the county seat of Logan County and is home to the Logan County Museum, which features exhibits on the area's history, including its role in the Civil War. Booneville is also known for its annual Strawberry Festival, which has been held annually since 1948 and celebrates the city's agricultural heritage.
