Shenandoah is a borough in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was incorporated in 1866 and has a population of approximately 5,000. The town was named after the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and was a significant coal mining center in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A notable attraction in Shenandoah is the Shenandoah Railroad Station, which was built in 1902 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
