Waverly, AL is a small town in Baldwin County, founded in 1893. It was named after Sir Walter Scott's novel "Waverley." The town was originally a stop on the L&N Railroad and has since grown to a population of around 150. Waverly is home to the historic Waverly Train Depot, which was built in 1896 and is now a museum and event venue. The town is known for its peaceful atmosphere and strong community spirit.
