Glouster is a village in Athens County, Ohio, US, founded in the late 19th century as a coal mining community. Its population peaked at over 3,000 in the 1940s, but has since declined to around 1,700. The village is home to the historic Glouster Train Depot, which was built in 1902 and now serves as a museum and community center. Despite its small size, Glouster has a rich history and continues to be a vibrant community in the Appalachian region of Ohio.
