Lynchburg, Ohio, US is a village in Clinton County, founded in 1812 by John Lynch. It was incorporated in 1836 and has a population of approximately 1,500 as of 2020. The village is known for the Loveland Castle, also known as Chateau Laroche, a medieval-style castle built by Harry Andrews in the early 20th century. The castle is now a popular tourist attraction and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
