Newton Falls, Ohio, US is a village located in Trumbull County, established in 1827 and named after John Newton, a surveyor. The village is known for the only covered bridge that still serves as an active roadway in the county, built in 1831. The bridge, also known as the "Newton Falls Covered Bridge," is a historic landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The village has a rich industrial history, with the first woolen mill in the Western Reserve established here in 1812.
