Tacna, Arizona, US is a small unincorporated community located in Santa Cruz County. It was established in the late 19th century and was named after the Peruvian city of Tacna. The community was originally a railroad stop and later became a center for agriculture, particularly cotton farming. Today, Tacna is home to the historic Tacna Train Depot, which was built in 1906 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The depot now serves as a museum and community center.
