West Henrietta is a hamlet in Monroe County, New York, US. It is located in the town of Henrietta, south of the city of Rochester. The area was first settled in the late 18th century and was primarily agricultural. In the 19th century, the construction of the Erie Canal and later the Rochester and Pittsburgh Railroad spurred growth in the region. A notable landmark in West Henrietta is the Tinker Nature Park, which features hiking trails, a pond, and a nature center. Today, West Henrietta is a residential community with a population of approximately 7,000.
