Russellville, Ohio is a village located in Brown County, in the southwestern part of the state. It was established in 1817 and named after William Russell, a local landowner. The village has a rich history in agriculture and transportation, with the construction of the Little Miami Railroad in the mid-19th century. Today, one of the notable attractions in Russellville is the Buckhorn Tavern, a historic inn and tavern that has been in operation since the early 1800s.
