Hopwood, Pennsylvania, US is a borough in Fayette County, established in 1907. It was named after the president of the Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Charleston Railway, Colonel John S. Hopwood. The borough covers an area of 0.3 square miles and had a population of 231 as of the 2010 census. Hopwood is home to the historic Hopwood Train Station, which was built in 1890 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
